Ash has been employed with PBC for over the past 10 years, and has proven himself as an asset to the company through his progression from a carpenter/foreman to a Senior Site Manager to his current role of Project Manager for PBC.

As the Project Manager in the PBC team, Ash ensures all parties are on track and focused on the pursuit of excellence. Ash ensures the projects’ that PBC undertake are completed to the client’s deliverables, on time and on budget.

Ash has shown willingness for continuous improvement and is excelling in his position while managing a variety of projects with professionalism and expertise.

Ash’s strengths include his ability to interpret construction plans; he possesses a can-do problem-solving ability; his friendly charismatic personality makes him easy to get along with for clients and all trades working alongside him.

Ash’s leadership skills allow him to provide ongoing support to train & develop the Site Managers and assist them in reaching the project’s goals.

Ash’s duties at PBC include:

  • The project goals are well defined;
  • The required resources are quantified;
  • The project scope and deliverables are clearly specified;
  • The deliverables are listed and quality targets set;
  • Communication is planned so everyone is informed;
  • Progress is frequently checked; actual vs. Planned;
  • Risks, issues and changes are resolved quickly.

What is your favourite aspect of the building industry?

To be working in an ever changing industry. Every job is different and with new trends making building both challenging and rewarding.

What is your greatest achievement to date?

Being a site manager in the construction industry.
